Who Are We?
Tina’s Home is a Therapeutic Transitional Living Program (TLP) for Chicagoland area adults. 24/7/365 Direct Care staff will provide comprehensive services and assist individuals with their academic and career goals, as well as essential life skills so that they can achieve independence. With a strengths-based, client-centered approach, Tina’s Home will not only support the goals of our clients, but it will be a place of empowerment, choice, healing, and transformation where their safety, health, well-being, and voice is top priority. Individuals may stay in the Transitional Independent Living facilities for up to 24 months.
Residents must be:
- Unhoused, DCFS Youth in Care or those who have transitioned out of care
- 18 years old or older
- Willing to enroll in school and/or be employed while in the program
- Committed to weekly therapeutic and life skills sessions
- Willing to engage in acts of service
- Fully committed to personal growth, goal-setting, working cooperatively, and self-sufficiency

How it works

Intake Process
Applicants are evaluated against eligibility criteria, with detailed assessments conducted upon acceptance.

Participant Success Planning
Personalized goals are established through the Participant Success Plan Agreement, focusing on education, employment, life skills, and emotional well-being.

Program Participation
Regular check-ins, monthly and three-month progress evaluations, individual and group therapy, life skills workshops, mentoring, and ongoing community engagement and volunteer activities.
04
Aftercare Support
Continued post-program guidance, including assistance securing permanent housing and employment, with follow-up services to support long-term success.
